Every Day is Something New
First she took one step today – then two. I thought John and I were going to completely burst we were so proud of her. I know, I know – every parent feels like that about their kid every time they do something new, but still – then everyone can relate! They can relate to that unbelievably adorable grin that your baby gives you after she looks at both of her parents yelling, “YAY MIA!!! YAY!!! OH YOU’RE SUCH A BIG GIRL!!! YAY!!!” and realizes that it’s a good thing(because she’s not old enough to realize that we’re really just nuts yet) and she’s just so proud of herself for making us so visibly happy.
Congrats Little One, you’ve succeeded. But, just so you know, we’d be just as proud and excited about you whether you took those steps or not – just the fact that you’re here and in our lives is enough to make me smile for all the rest of the days of my life:)
