I can’t lie — I cannot sew. My mom is an unbelievable seamstress and not one of her children can sew – did we think we were too “cool”??? Because now – forget cool! I want to sew!! I keep seeing all of these gorgeous fabrics and thinking of all of the amazing things I could do with them, like this or this, but then I remind myself that I don’t have a sewing machine, anywhere to put a sewing machine(even if I did have one!) and I can’t sew.
For now, I guess the best thing I could do with them is spend too much money on great fabrics only to let them set in piles on a shelf because I can’t do anything with them! So – add that to my list of things I really want to learn to do (sew, embroider, knit, bake, cook). Ahhh, I really do get more and more settled into being domestic every day, don’t i?
