At the Railroad – Part 1 {Black and White}

Have I told you lately how much I love where we live? Our library’s summer reading program left us with two tickets to the Strasburg Railroad and Mia had Friday off for Labor Day, so we spent Friday on an adventure. It’s an old, restored steam train that takes you on a 45 minute ride through farmland in Lancaster County. We stopped at market on our way and got goodies for lunch, rushed to make the train in time, took a ride, stopped and got off the train for a picnic and some playtime, bought a pretty bouquet for $5.25 on the way home from a card table in front of someone’s house and collapsed when we got home from the heat and excitement. It was a good last hurrah! for the end of summer.
