The NY Times No-Knead Bread is so 2006?

February 18, 2010

Oh, well if it’s so 2006. I’m sorta late on most bandwagons anyway and I’m fine with that. If you haven’t tried this bread, you need to. ASAP. Soft inside, chewy outside. YUM.

What’s that? I used entirely too much flour on the outside? Yeah, I know. It’s cool, we shook it off. The bread still tasted fantastic. It also only took a total of maybe 10 minutes to make, so with a 2.5 year old and 10.5 month old, it’s right up my alley!  I’ve made it three times now, all with fantastic results. {Recipe Here}

Up next(as in, tomorrow), I’m trying this Steel Cut Oatmeal Version.

    That looks delicious. I make bread just about everyday and this would be a nice change.
    Thank you for sharing the recipe.
    Warm wishes,

    Oh, goodness. I have made 4 loaves of this since you posted this. Easy, yummy, inexpensive, soft and well down right addicting. The last two loaves I did half white whole wheat flour and they were quite good. Thank you for sharing this blast from the past.

      Isn’t it amazing?? I made the steel cut version, too, and it turned out beautifully!

Leave some love! (It always makes my day:)
