habit : this week

July 16, 2010

I’m in love with this blog. This week I joined in through their flickr group and I’m loving this habit so much. Capturing one moment a day. Not  posed. 30 words or less to go along with the day – related to the photo or not. Here’s my week:

July 13 :  Sorting our loot – $2 for so many books, but him pulling

at me while I take a picture says way more than I’d like to admit.

July 14 : She found them with the other still-too-big shoes because she didn’t

want wet feet in the rain. They’re not too big anymore. I love when that happens.

july 15 : she told me that it was clear that I’m a thoughtful, patient mother.

i’m sure she says it to every parent at check-ups, but i held it in my heart so tightly.

july 16 : He was so proud and so happy. Some of my favorite pictures are out

of focus andterrible and I don’t care at all – I captured that sweet grin.

The simple, beautiful, wonderful-ness of this post is really inspiring. I love posts like this, that capture emotions with a picture and leave you wanting more =) Also, I totally relate to the person who says it’s clear you’re a good mother. Every time someone tells me that, I know they probably say it to other people, but I carry it around in my heart for awhile and grin.
