Sweetness
July 28, 2010
I love that she just rediscovered a doll that’s so sweet.
I love that she also loves her new anatomically correct boy doll that she requested because the other “boy” dolls were confusing her.
I love that she’s been obsessed with taking care of her babies all week.
I love that I asked if she was babysitting and she told me that she’s the Daddy and Daddies don’t babysit their own kids – they’re just their kids.
I love that she pretends that she’s the Daddy – I love it for her and I love it for John.
I love the way she tucks the blankets around them when she puts them down for a nap.
I love the way she kisses and hugs her dolls and the gentle way that her brother also does the same with babies as a result.
I just love her.

Lillian this post definitely brightened my day. What a caring (daddy) of a daughter you have. I’m sure she’s just as attentive with her dolls as you are with her. Great pic!
Boys and girls have their own specialties about them… and this post made me so excited to be expecting my GIRL!! Thanks!!
And of course…yours is as sweet as can be… must be that parental influence 😉
My Sibling and My Pal dolls are very sweet – they were designed and made by me to teach children about caring and loving one another and the world around us. Please visit my website to learn more. Our doll program benefits teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Our boy dolls are not anatomically correct, but neither are the girls. It’s the outfits and booklets that really are important for children to learn from. I am the mother of four, and a teacher, and this is my family owned business. Please help me to spread the word about this worthwhile project. Thank you for your time.
She is getting so big and is absolutely beautiful. I was thinking about you (and her) when I went to the 3rd annual Nestie BBQ at Deanne’s. That was one of the few times I met you IRL before you moved. I was about 6 months pregnant and she was playing with my shoe and pulling up on me and I had no idea what to do or how to react or if it was okay with you. How times have changed! B. will be two in a little over a month! 🙂
PS I love your blog and pictures!
