Photography Projects and a Thank You
Sometimes I wonder what goes through my head when I take things on and pile things on top of everything else going on. But I weigh things carefully and I truly believe that fueling the spirit with things that make you feel complete and full is a necessity in life. As a mom especially, it’s so easy to push aside the things that matter to us when days get hectic or busy. But these are the times that I think we need them the most – a respite, a creative outlet, a time for ourselves.
So when I got an email Monday morning from the Kelly McMahon Willette telling me that I had one the creative mama’s finding YOUR joy giveaway, I nearly fell out of my seat with literal joy and excitement. I have seen so many incredibly inspiring online photography classes recently and hers are some that I have gone back to repeatedly to dream about justifying the cost. I am SO excited to be able to participate in this e-course – thank you , THANK YOU, to both Kelly Willette and the creative mama team. I can’t wait!
I officially started my 365 Days of Life project September 1, but I wasn’t sure at first what I was going to do with the pictures. I decided to start a blog with them and to also link to a flickr set in case anyone wants to follow along. My own rules:
- Take at least one picture per day September 1, 2010 – August 31, 2011.
- Blog them and add them to my flickr set.
- Add 50 words or less somehow related to the day.
That officially makes two projects that I have going on and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Anyone else want to join the fun??
