I’m Jonesin’

January 20, 2011

Seriously. I cannot fix my laptop. Ok, I could if I put more effort in and I intend to soon, but we’ve been busy and it takes quiet, dedicated, no-kids-running-around time when I’m not exhausted to not throw the laptop at the wall. That doesn’t happen often – the quiet, dedicated, no-kids-running-around/not tired time. Plus, both of my children were awake from 1am-330am last night and I didn’t go to bed until about 12:45am, so I didn’t actually get to sleep until after 3:30. Am I making any sense at all or is the delirium just talking? I’m saying it was a rough night. We don’t have them often, so I shouldn’t complain, but all I really want is a Diet Pepsi and some time to fix my computer because this old basement dinosaur computer just doesn’t do the trick – I can’t even upload pictures. And even if I could, Lightroom isn’t here and I’m pretty sure the thought of ever two pictures added to the hard drive of this computer would make it crash instantly. So I’m jonesin’. For some photo editing and posting time.

In the interim, let me share some things I love:

  • This post and this post that have my kids asking to do yoga daily.
  • These sweet eggs that have been in someone’s hands at all times since we got them a couple of days ago.
  • This post on getting started with chickens and the thought that we’re most likely really, really going to get chickens!!!
  • These lovely $3 salt and pepper shakers I found at Pier One today. I always forget about the random stuff they have there – I need to add some of their cake stands to my list next. And these measuring cups. And these chalkboard jars.
  • Doing pretty hair is fun. Check out all of this inspiration – I had completely forgotten about fishtail braids!
  • Lemons 5/$1 sitting on my counter looking fresh and pretty.

{I would have shared a picture of today’s fishtail braid if I could.}

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

    Chalkboard jars~I’ve been wanting those so badly. Thanks for legwork~now I know where to scoot.
    I simply love the picture of lemons. I could look at that all winter and feel peaceful. 🙂
    Happy Day!!

      Anytime! I’m trying to convince myself to spend the money on them… The lemons keep getting moved all over the kitchen amongst the mess of building and they make me smile every time:)
